Down is a Hartford instrumental from his 1976 album Nobody Knows What You Do, and Bush played in the original sessions. He said that the sessions came at a time when he and Hartford were listening to John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra. On Radio John it runs 3:30 and Bush plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar, electric bass and banjo.
Bush told The Bluegrass Situation that he tried to play the banjo like Hartford on the record.
