In Tall Buildings runs 3:28 on Radio John. Folk Alley called it an elegant and poignant waltz, and Bush told the site he had played and sung harmony on the original version. Americana UK read it as Hartford's ode to country life and its advantages over the rat race.
On Bush's record the song is carried by fingerpicked guitar and mandolin, with Donnie Sundal singing harmony. Bush played it at Wolf Trap in 2023.
