"Jacqueline" closes Undercurrent, 3:50, written by Jarosz. It is named for the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park; she lived nearby and went there to think, and describes it as almost looking like a heart in the middle of the city, she told the Nashville Scene in June 2016. It is one of four solo tracks on the album, with "Early Morning Light", "Take Another Turn" and "Everything to Hide", the first time she had recorded without additional musicians. PopMatters' Steve Horowitz wrote that the song offers the hope that only the dead can provide, that there is still hope for the living.
It was not released as a single, and no video, chart entry, covers or samples were found. Whether our upload is the album recording or a live take is unknown.
