The debut was recorded at Golden Voice Studios in Pekin, Illinois; no exact recording dates are given. Luttrell sang, Strater played bass and bass pedals, Tassler drums and percussion, Schildt piano, synthesizer and organ, and Stewart and Hagler electric guitars. The art is by Alex Ebel.
AllMusic's Paul Collins gave it three stars, calling it a decent enough debut and "Lady of the Lake" an epic and a wonderfully sprawling song. A Music Street Journal reviewer hears Rick Wakeman-like keyboards and Steve Howe-style guitar, and says "Sunfield" has the most Andersonian vocals on the album. Wikipedia lists the second track as "Elliptical Season", which our upload calls "Elliptical Seasons".
