The title track of the album was its second single, released on 8 October 2001. It reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart and runs 3:29. The band produced it with Chris Shaw at Monnow Valley Studio in 2000.

Rhys said the song is about all the rings of communication around the world, and the rings of pollution and radioactivity too. He pictured the Earth as a kind of Saturn, surrounded by communication lines, traffic and debris thrown out of spaceships. Reviewers compared it to Status Quo, ELO and the Beach Boys. Two videos exist: the single's, directed by Pedro Romhanyi, shows fictional television stations including SFA TV, and the DVD's, directed by Sean Hillen, shows the lyrics scrolling in front of a globe. In 2015 the Guardian called it a space-age surf-rocker in the set at the Cardiff reunion show.
