Something 4 the Weekend

Something 4 the Weekend was the band's third single, released on 1 July 1996, and reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. The single version is a slower, more mellow reworking of Something for the Weekend from Fuzzy Logic, which runs 2:32 on the CD single and is its last track. The single version runs 2:52 and replaced the original on the US release of the album. The B-sides were Waiting to Happen and Arnofio/Glô in the Dark. The sleeve carries a Welsh saying that roughly means slowly is the way to catch a chicken.

Pitchfork's Marc Hogan called it the album's most infectious sing-along and thought the album take more rambunctious than the near-perfect single version.
