Recorded at Studio Bogolan in Bamako in July 2009 and mixed at Studio Zuma in Ljubljana, with Chris Eckman producing and Peter Weber as executive producer. All the songs are by Ousmane Ag Mossa. Eckman added organ and percussion and Hugo Race slide guitar on the closing Toumastin. The Mail & Guardian noted that the bass sits higher in the mix than usual, for a rock feel, and singled out Outamachek and Tidite Tille.
