The Aeroplane Flies High

A five-disc box set holding expanded versions of the five Mellon Collie singles, with a 44-page booklet of pictures and writings by Corgan, plus lyrics. It was meant to be limited to 200,000 copies, but Virgin pressed more after the first run sold out. It reached number 42 on the Billboard 200. Rolling Stone's Tom Moon wrote that there is no filler here. A six-disc deluxe version followed in 2013 under Corgan's supervision, which Pitchfork's Ian Cohen noted added 90 further tracks to the original 33.
