I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)

Released on Nice Swan on 7 November 2024 and produced by Lewis Whiting of English Teacher, it was later the opening track of This Better Be Something Great. Promotional copy calls it a blunt love song. The band said they like the guitars and drums loud, with the vocals made to fight their way over the top, not in a shoegaze way but in the manner of a crude 1950s PA, and that they wanted to make something that felt timeless. Black Country, New Road drummer Charlie Wayne called it his favourite of 2024 on Twitter and urged the band to record it.

Its vinyl release entered the charts on 27 March 2025, reaching number 9 on the Official Vinyl Singles Chart and 13 on the Physical Singles Chart, where it stayed for 13 weeks. The 7-inch carries a demo of Slowly I'm Sure on the B-side.

Live

It is the band's most-played song, logged 119 times on setlist.fm from the first show at ASAP Coffee in October 2023 to Music Hall of Williamsburg in October 2026. A reviewer at the Bristol Exchange in February 2026 called it electric live. Other acts have taken it into their own sets, the London band Dover most often.
