Wicked Ivory

Wicked Ivory (Love LRLP 52) came out in 1972 under the name Hot Thumbs O'Riley and was also issued on Charisma in 1973. Pembroke sings every voice himself across British music hall and blues. Bill Golembeski of Something Else! called it an absurdly clever and endlessly melodic album in 2021, and its closing pair, "Grass for Blades" and "The Decline of the House of Lords", a brilliant double punch. MusicBrainz lists the studio "Grass for Blades" at 3:53.
