Nolan, Mitchell and Pointer produced the album. It was recorded at Thin Ice Studios and Outhouse Studios, and Mitchell mixed and mastered it at Outhouse. It came in a gatefold digipak with a 16-page booklet. The performers were Nolan, Mitchell, Kylan Amos, Pointer and Paul Manzi. Its closing track, The Legend of Elijah Shade, runs 22 minutes 39 seconds.
