Released on 24 June 1996, it debuted and peaked at number six in the UK, the second-highest placing of any Ash single up to then after Goldfinger. Lisa Moorish sings extra vocals. Wheeler wrote it at 18 about the first romance he had at 15. B-sides were T. Rex, Everywhere Is All Around, written with Martin Carr, and a cover of ABBA's Does Your Mother Know. In the video Hamilton kisses an actress, intercut with the band playing at a carnival. BBC Music's Mike Diver called it the best-known cut on the album and wrote that Wheeler's imperfect vocal made the story of teenage infatuation more believable.
