Vinicius de Moraes wrote the words and Baden Powell the music. On Tanto Tempo it comes first, and its backing track is Amon Tobin's Nova, from his album Permutation. The BBC heard in it a dreamy selection of sax and clarinet samples and drum loops alongside real-time guitar and traditional percussion, and said it sets the tone for the album.
It was one of the Tanto Tempo songs she played at The Box in New York on 29 September 2009, and it opens the Bimbo's recording from 2000.
