It followed his "Get Back" credit, and Apple bought him out of his Capitol contract. Preston played vocals, piano and Hammond organ, with Harrison on guitar, Moog and sitar, Eric Clapton on guitar, Keith Richards on bass on "Do What You Want" and the title track, Ginger Baker on drums, and Doris Troy and Madeline Bell on backing vocals. The singles were "Hey Brother", the title track and "Everything's All Right".
AllMusic gave it four stars and Record Collector four, calling him an accomplished, spiritually engaging singer-songwriter. David Fricke put it in his top five non-Beatle Apple albums in 2010 and called the title track's performance rapturous.
