Nº2
Her 1970 album with Patrice Moullet and Denis Cohen, ending with the nearly nineteen-minute "Poeme non epique".
Catherine Ribeiro, 1970
Nº2 was released in 1970 on Disques Festival; a search summary gives the catalog number as FLDX 531. No source gave recording dates, the studio or a producer. Reviewers name Ribeiro on vocals, Moullet on classical guitar, electric lyre, organ and vocals and Denis Cohen on organ and percussion. Tracks named include "Prelude", "Sirba", "15 Aout 1970", "Silen Voy Kathy" (more than seven minutes) and "Poeme non epique" (track seven, about 18:34).
Spectrum Culture's Pat Padua called "15 Aout 1970" a perfectly realized miniature drama, and wrote that the rudimentary drumming fails on "Poeme non epique"; the Vinyl District's Joseph Neff graded the reissues A- and hears Ribeiro closest to Brigitte Fontaine here.
