Sowiesoso

Sowiesoso, the first Cluster record for Sky, was recorded in two days in 1976 at Harmonia Studio in Forst and mixed at Plank's studio in Wolperath, with Cluster and Plank producing. Moebius and Roedelius play keyboards, percussion and vocals on it. A softer sound is linked to Eno's earlier work with Harmonia. The title track runs 8:10 on the LP and 7:17 on most CD reissues.

AllMusic gives it four out of five, Pitchfork gave it 9.2 out of 10 in 2016, and Mojo and Record Collector gave it five stars; Russ Curry called it a fully realized marriage of electronic sounds with a pastoral warmth. One source says the duo recorded at their own home studio with no outside producer; Wikipedia credits Plank with production and mixing.
