A cover of Robinson's 1979 hit, it is a quiet storm love song with a string section, with additional recording at Back Pocket Studios in New York. It became one of the album's R&B top-ten singles. Rolling Stone's Cheo H. Coker wrote that D'Angelo strokes the blue-light classic with his own touch but does not ruffle it, and Stereogum's Tom Breihan said even this relatively straightforward cover hits like a cloud.
