Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing

The 1982 debut album: fourteen songs in under half an hour, number two on the independent chart.
Discharge, 1982

It was recorded in 1982 with Cal Morris on vocals, Bones on guitar, Rainy on bass and Garry Maloney on drums, and produced by the label owner Mike Stone. Fourteen tracks run about 27 minutes, and a sample from the 1966 television film The War Game sits between "Cries of Help" and "The Possibility of Life's Destruction". It reached number two on the UK independent album chart and number 40 on the national chart. After it the band played across the UK with GBH and the Exploited and toured Canada, the United States, Italy, Yugoslavia, the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden.

AllMusic gave it four stars and called it a high-speed noise overload; a reader poll in Terrorizer ranked it the best punk album of all time; David Konow wrote that it was the band's crowning achievement. The studio was not found, so none is named. CD reissues add singles and EP tracks.
