Rain Roll In

The opening track of Sea of Tears, one of the songs she plays most often in concert.
Eilen Jewell, from Sea of Tears (2009)

"Rain Roll In" opens Sea of Tears, 2:47; Wikipedia names outside writers only for the covers, so it is presumably her own, which has not been confirmed from a credit page. It opened the band's set at Club Passim in Cambridge on January 28, 2010, and a Music Fog video was shot at Threadgill's and posted on May 4, 2009. She played it on a Daytrotter session on April 22, 2013, and Tunefind lists it in an episode of The Man Who Fell to Earth (2022). Setlist.fm counts 83 performances, her sixth most played, behind "Sea of Tears" (85), across 501 setlists.

No credit page, no confirmed account of what the song is about, and no covers or samples were found, and it is not known whether our upload is the album take.
