Tous les garçons et les filles

The debut album, with Roger Samyn's orchestra.
Françoise Hardy, 1962

Play on hypersongs

Hardy wrote the lyrics except on two tracks, including "Le temps de l'amour". Roger Samyn conducted the orchestra and Jean-Marie Périer took the photographs. AllMusic's Stewart Mason gave it four stars and called it an outstanding record, Exclaim! gave it 10 out of 10, and Pitchfork's Hazel Cills scored it 8.6 and wrote of songwriting that is profoundly lonely and frequently insecure. Slipcue, by contrast, found it a bit subdued and staid.
