Inner World Peace came out on Sub Pop on 21 October 2022. All fifteen songs are credited to Bailey, Kline, Martin and Pyenson. Katie von Schleicher played Mellotron and strings and engineered, mixed and produced alongside Nate Mendelsohn, who added saxophone and synthesizer bass. A deluxe edition, Clean Weird Prone, adds ten bonus tracks, most of them demos.
Pitchfork's Nina Corcoran, who called it the fifth studio album and scored it 7.6, wrote that Kline had entered a phase of tenured inquisitiveness, and compared the album's grooves to Stereolab. She singled out Aftershook, A Work Call, Fragments and Fruit Stand. AllMusic's Marcy Donelson heard a little less bounce in the band's gait, and the album averaged 73 on Metacritic.
