Dreams

His 1968 Skye album, produced and arranged by Gary McFarland: seven pieces, with two by Manuel de Falla and one by Donovan.
Gabor Szabo, 1968

Dreams (Skye SK 7) was produced by Gary McFarland, who also plays piano and arranged it. JazzDisco gives Western Recorders in Los Angeles on August 6, 7 and 9, 1968, and Gotham Recording in New York on August 22 for overdubs, while Wikipedia says United Recording Studio in Los Angeles on the same dates; the engineers were Ed Rice and Andy Richardson. Szabo plays guitar with Jim Stewart on guitar, Louis Kabok on bass, Jim Keltner on drums, Hal Gordon on percussion, Tony Miranda, Ray Alonge and Brooks Tillotson on French horn, Julius Schacter on violin and George Ricci on cello. The cover art, Vision, is by John Austen.

AllMusic gave it three stars, saying Szabo has many fine moments and calling it accessible third-stream music; DownBeat gave it four on March 6, 1969. It was reissued in 2022 on vinyl and remastered with bonus tracks, including radio versions of "Fire Dance" and "Ferris Wheel" from a 1969 single.
