The credited players include Leroy Sibbles and Michael Taylor played bass, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace and Noel Alphonso drums, Augustus Pablo and others keyboards, and Tommy McCook among the horn players. A companion dub album, In the Light Dub, was mixed by Prince Jammy. Blood and Fire put both albums on one CD in 1995 with notes by Steve Barrow, and VP's 17 North Parade reissued the album in 2016 for Andy's 65th birthday, keeping the original sleeve.
