This is a different record from the 1972 Studio One album of the same name. Released by Massive Attack's Melankolic label with Virgin, it gathers fourteen tracks from across his career, with liner notes by Ashley Heath that give a recording date for most of them. Fever is the 1970 Studio One original, Every Tongue Shall Tell was cut for Downbeat in 1970, and Skylarking is the Studio One hit. Don't Let Problems Get You Down and Children of Israel were made for Leonard Chin in 1973, and Elementary was written and recorded in Britain in 1984 and released by Rough Trade.

It opens with Spying Glass and closes with the Massive Attack version of the same song, recorded in 1994. One Love is also taken from Massive Attack's work.
