Blueberry Hill

The third track on The Legend Lives On... is a version of the standard by Vincent Rose, Larry Stock and Al Lewis. It mainly uses a rhythm track first recorded during the Metal Box sessions, as does "Not Another", which led to the dispute with John Lydon.

The song was also the starting point for "The Suit" on Metal Box. Wobble recorded the drum and piano backing track at Gooseberry Sound Studios with Mark Lusardi, and it began as a cover of "Blueberry Hill". When he brought the track to the band at The Manor, Lydon was galvanised and wrote the vocal within a few hours.
