The Legend Lives On... Jah Wobble in "Betrayal"
Wobble's solo debut, a largely guitar-free dub record whose use of Metal Box rhythm tracks ended his time in PiL.

Produced by Eddie Jobson and released by Virgin in May 1980, it has a largely guitar-free sound built on reggae and punk-inspired dub. Trouser Press said Wobble fiddles with electronics and overdubbing and plays shadowy, threatening bass.
"Not Another" and "Blueberry Hill" rest mainly on rhythm tracks first recorded during the Metal Box sessions. That caused the dispute with John Lydon and led to Wobble's departure from PiL in 1980. AllMusic's Andy Kellman panned the vocals but still called it a pretty strong record. A 1990 Virgin CD reissue added seven bonus tracks, among them a horn-laden remix of "Today Is the First Day".
