Several sources say it was recorded in a converted chicken coop in their hometown, as James Felice told QRO. The listed times sum close to 65 minutes, and Smile Politely, comparing them to The Band's Basement Tapes, Tom Waits and John Prine, called the record a bit long. Uncut's Rob Hughes reviewed it on April 8, 2008.
