"Frankie's Gun!" is the first track on Adventures of The Felice Brothers Vol. 1 (2007) and track three on The Felice Brothers, 4:06, March 4, 2008; Wikipedia calls it perhaps their most widely recognized song. The Wikipedia pages list no songwriting credits, and James Felice credits his brother Ian with writing most of the band's songs. Uncut's Rob Hughes called it the fatal falling out between a couple of hapless hoods on a drug run to Chicago, and a standout, a wonky New Orleans street parade; Phoenix New Times calls it a criminal partnership gone wrong, and another review reads it as about the people the narrator leaves behind. No interview explaining it was found.

Setlist.fm counts 137 performances, the second most played song, plus 27 under a separate Frankie's Gun entry. It closed the main set at Kingston, New York on December 31, 2024 and was the last song at Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia on December 29, and in London in November 2024 the first encore. The end of the song appears in the closing sequence of the Outnumbered Christmas special of 2009. We hold two uploads and could not determine which album version each is. No covers, charts or video were found.
