Recorded for a planned album with the working title 7 Come 11, it stayed unreleased after a dispute between Jack Clement and Kevin Eggers, and Steve Earle says in Be Here to Love Me that the tapes went back into the tape pool because Eggers did not pay for them. Mickey White told the filmmakers that hopes of release were nearly gone. Several of the songs were remade for Flyin' Shoes and At My Window. Pitchfork's Matthew Blackwell reviewed the 1993 release as a Sunday Review in 2025.
