Label
Wilfilms Records (WLP 033)

William Onyeabor

The final Wilfilms LP is a stereo record with When the Going Is Smooth & Good and This Kind of World on the first side, and Anything You Sow and Everyday on the second. Onyeabor is credited as composer, arranger and producer. His sleeve note offers profound gratitude to his fans, friends and well-wishers and asks God to bless them.

Andy Beta called it his last album before his conversion. He heard the artist's influence most clearly on Everyday and This Kind of World, and noted that Caribou, under the name Daphni, has sampled the record. The cover shows an array of keyboards. On When the Going Is Smooth & Good, Beta wrote, Onyeabor rails against people who soothe in good times and vanish in bad.
