Ben Graham of The Quietus called it a "near-bubblegum, garage rock classic." Haynes's Gibbytronix effects are on the vocal. Leary said: "It's such a horrible recording too," but added that "we try to encompass all the spectrum of human emotions." It nearly became a single: the planned B-side was every Butthole Surfers song recorded to that point, played back at once. Leary made a version, but the idea never got off the ground.
The song was heard in the final season of Stranger Things in December 2025, where the character Mike Wheeler picks this album while trying to make a bomb out of a record.
