Rose in the Dark is the title track and fifth song on the album, 3:47, written by Dean Josiah Cover and Cleopatra Nikolic, and it flows from Rewind. God Is In The TV's review notes a Motown-style bell sound and additional hummers, says the lyrics read like a Christian story, and quotes the line then the light it came after I forgave, tying it to Sol's faith as it appears in her tweets. Dazed has Sol describing letting God work through her, from a 2019 MTV quote that could not be retrieved. The song was used in the fifth season of HBO's Insecure, according to The Blues Project, a secondary source.
It opened Radio City Music Hall on March 23, 2025, her first US solo show, which sold out with over 5,000 people, followed by When I'm in Your Arms according to NPR's WLRN, and was the second song at the Hollywood Bowl on April 4, 2025. Setlist.fm counts seven performances. An official video is on YouTube. No chart history, covers or samples were found.
