Soundscape 1: Surround
Six pieces written as the sound of a company's prefabricated show homes, reissued by Temporal Drift in 2023.

Misawa Homes Institute of Research and Development commissioned the record as soundscapes for its prefabricated houses, and Yoshimura's task was to make the most intimate place in anyone's life even more hospitable. Yukio Kojima recorded it, and the original LP is catalogued 25SD-1. In the original liner notes Yoshimura asked that it be played at a volume low enough to leave room for conversation.
Joshua Minsoo Kim reviewed the Temporal Drift reissue for Pitchfork in October 2023, scored it 9.0 and marked it Best New Reissue. He singled out the 11-minute Time Forest as the centerpiece and called Time After Time the magnum opus of Yoshimura's work. He also quoted Yoshimura saying he looked with his ears.
