Yoshimura recorded Flora at Hiroo 806 Studio in 1987, and it appeared on Prem Promotion as PRY-0071 on 21 April 2006. Tamiko Honda and Yasushi Takamatsu produced the release, and the sleeve thanks Yoko Yoshimura. Temporal Drift reissued it as DRFT14 with a street date of 20 March 2025.
Daniel Bromfield reviewed the reissue for Pitchfork on 22 March 2025, scored it 8.5 and marked it Best New Reissue. He called it the most album-like of Yoshimura's releases, more melodic and mischievous than his earlier work, and picked Adelaide as the best track. He heard the Over the Clover riff as a match for Blink.
