Twisterella was the second single from Going Blank Again, released on 13 April 1992, and takes its name from a song in the 1963 film Billy Liar. Pitchfork's Ian Cohen heard the sugar-spun power pop of their labelmates Teenage Fanclub in it and noted that the band themselves called it their ace card.
It peaked at 36 on the UK singles chart. Creation stopped promoting the album as a result, and Cohen wrote that Ride released no more singles from it.
