The second song on Chaos A.D. has music by the band and lyrics credited to Andreas Kisser. Max Cavalera said he worked on it with Kisser, that they wrote the heavy chorus on acoustic guitars in his backyard, and that it translated to electric later. He said it was about territorial wars of every kind, from Los Angeles gangs to drug wars in Brazil to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Andy Wallace restructured the intro so that it builds up from a tumbling drum part, and suggested syncopated backbeats from Igor Cavalera that give it a tribal feel. Max said Wallace and Igor should get royalties for that opening, because other bands used it later.

The video was directed by Paul Rachman and filmed in Israel and Palestine around the signing of the Oslo Accords. It shows the band near the Dead Sea becoming covered in mud, cut with soldiers, graffiti and religious ceremonies in the Old City of Jerusalem. It was released to television in October 1993 and won the International Viewer's Choice award for best video (Brazil) at the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards. The single's B-sides were a cover of Titãs' Polícia and Biotech Is Godzilla.
