It is the seventh track on Heroes to Zeros and its second single, released in the UK on 12 July 2004, when it reached 54. The UK CDs carried a radio edit, a remix by Roman Nose and a Depth Charge remix, and one format included a video.
Matt LeMay of Pitchfork called it by far the album's standout. He described overbearing beats and an unusual barking dog sample that break into reverb-laden vocals and rough electric guitar, with screeching synthesizers later changing the texture, and its chorus of I love you as subtle and charming. Dorian Lynskey of the Guardian said nobody else could have come up with it, a rainbow-hued splurge of garage-rock, Beatles harmonies, rayguns and barking dogs.
