Dr. Baker

It is the third track on Los Amigos del Beta Bandidos, the July 1998 EP, and was collected on The Three E.P.'s that September. It featured on the soundtrack of the first series of Trigger Happy TV. Paul Thompson of Pitchfork wrote of the lonesome howls of the late-EP stunner, and Jess Harvell described how it begins hungover in bed with drips of piano against the window, until by the second verse a lost calliope has burst into the bedroom.

It appears on The Best of The Beta Band in 2005, among the studio recordings and again in a live version on the second disc.
