E-Pro

Beck wrote it with Mike Simpson and John King, and the Beastie Boys (Mike D, Adam Yauch and Ad-Rock) share credit because it uses the rhythm track of So What'cha Want. It was recorded in 2004 and released as the lead single from Guero on 14 March 2005. It reached number 1 on Alternative Airplay, 65 on the Hot 100 and 38 in the United Kingdom. The video, by Shynola, uses wireframe animation, and Beck was injured during the filming. Setlist.fm logs 469 plays. It was his first chart-topper since Loser, and Up All Night from Colors in 2017 was his next. Beck limited his touring for several years after the injury.
