Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie was first recorded during the Nervous Breakdown sessions. That take stayed on the shelf until Everything Went Black. The band recut it with Rollins for Damaged. Trouser Press noted that it and Police Story, Damaged and Depression are each done twice on Everything Went Black.
It stayed in the set. On the live album Who's Got the 10 1/2?, recorded in Portland, Oregon on 23 August 1985, Trouser Press found a genuine oldie in it. A Perfect Circle covered it on Emotive.
