Recover

Recover premiered on 6 February 2013 and was released on the Recover EP, on 25 March in Britain through Goodbye and Virgin and the next day in the United States through Glassnote. Co-manager Campbell McNeil gave Glassnote founder Daniel Glass copies of Lies and Recover, and Glass travelled to the UK to see the band live before signing them in January 2013. Harley Brown of Pitchfork named it a Best New Track, wrote that its beat gallops and shimmers like a unicorn, and quoted the lines "If I recover, will you be my comfort?" and "I'll give you one more chance". On the album it is the seventh track, and Chvrches have played it on the Love Is Dead tour.
