I Should Coco

Supergrass released it in 1994 as a limited seven-inch on Backbeat Records, with Strange Ones on the B-side, before Parlophone took it up. It was one of the six songs cut in the first Sawmills session with Sam Williams. Goffey said it was written on an acoustic guitar with only three strings, and that a line came from the tour manager stepping out of the shower and saying "I was still on a buzz!"

John Peel placed it at number five in his Festive 50 of 1994. It peaked at number 43 on the UK singles chart. The first video by Dom and Nic is a Super 8 montage of the band on and off stage, and it appears in the Beavis and Butt-Head episode Sprout. Taylor Hawkins played drums on it with the band on the last night of a European tour supporting the Foo Fighters. The song opened the Glasgow show on the 2020 reunion tour.
