The thirteenth album was announced on 22 June 2021 with the single Days Like These. It is the third Low record produced by BJ Burton, who is credited with production, recording and mixing, with Huntley Miller mastering, and the only one that Sparhawk and Parker made as a duo. Burton was nominated at the 64th Grammys in the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical category.
Pitchfork's Andy Cush, who scored it 8.4, wrote that their voices were a little deeper and rounder than before, and heard White Horses as the pair harmonizing about the inevitable cruelty of love. Days Like These, he wrote, cuts between clean and distorted singing, with half of one line clean and half distorted. The Price You Pay (It Must Be Wearing Off) is the only song with drums. Metacritic scores the album 84.
