All Melody came out on 26 January 2018 on Erased Tapes. Pitchfork's Philip Sherburne wrote that it was recorded in the Funkhaus, the 1950s complex in the former East Berlin where Frahm spent two years building his room, down to a custom-built mixing desk. Beyond keyboards he used strings, trumpet, tympani, gongs and bass marimba, and the London choir Shards sings wordlessly on the opening track.

He used the Funkhaus reverb chambers and made his own version in a dry well at a friend's house on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Sherburne counted 12 songs in 74 minutes that work as one piece with recurring themes, and noted that for once there was no grand concept. The closing Harm Hymn is a few chords on a harmonium. Torsten Posselt designed the sleeve and Lia Darjes took the photography.
